Lights hung from the ceiling illuminate a palette of colors on your face I didn't know you before my eager feet walked through the door, but now my mind is telling me that its at peace The music coming from the speakers is telling us to live a life at someone else's pace and the bunker we are in is just a cage for all our sins carried out beyond the eyes of police But this isn't fate, and its not a choice, but its not a lie One mistake set on, set on, set on repeat two misused expressions for every new person I meet three opportunities I seem to have missed and anything else that I can add to this list of things I cannot change The past few weeks, I've been thinking that waiting for a fantasy is waiting in vain and that a winter without snow makes for darker nights, you know, so I'm struggling to move towards the light The rush to meet my expectations has built up an exponential gridlock in my brain But what's the use in shame, she doesn't even know my name another day becomes a disappointing night But it's not my fate to waste my time, to become a slave To one mistake set on, set on, set on repeat to two misused expressions for every new person I meet to three opportunities I seem to have missed and anything else that I can add to this list of things I cannot change One mistake set on, set on, set on repeat two misused expressions for every new person I meet three opportunities I seem to have missed and anything else that I can add to this list of things I cannot change Can't change

You can't tell me what you want So just tell me what you need I've been waiting for so long You're just looking for the right You're just looking the right Don't you gimmie those don't you shoot those angel eyes When you're just looking for a ride You're just looking for a ride But you can't find it in a No, you won't find it in a smile Let me off this stupid ride I want off this stupid ride Was I dreaming when you said You would rather die than leave me stranded? Cause you've gone back on your word I deserve so much better I deserve so much more You don't deserve me Well, I'm still at your door. I'll wait for you You know I'll wait for you Why am I waiting for you? I'll wait for you.

What a strange place to be, Nineteen years of falling on and off uncertainty, And what strange place to live, And I try I try I try my best to give, I raise my voice I have a choice to take this photograph, Be still the present, past and future moments never last, Better times in black and white although they look so sad, And I try I try I try my best to give, Yeah I try I try I try my best to live, Things don't seem the way they should, Please believe me (please believe me), Please believe me that they could , Well I don't feel the way I know I think a person should, And I know I could, yes I know i could, I'm wanting more what I don't need and still it makes me laugh, I wait in line just to receive but they don't let me have, The bread and wine we run and hide from things that make us sad, And I try I try I try my best to give, Yeah I try I try I try my best to live, A lonely road I walk alone the one you'll never find, An empty road I find a phone you try to drop a line, The only one that never fails me when I want to find, And I try I try I try my best to give, Yeah I try I try I try my best to live, And I try I try I try my best to live, Yeah I try I try I try my best to live.

You lay your head down Dream of all you want And close you eyes It’ll be alright Momma told you Stories in the night Legends of the old Oh will I ever know One day, you wake and rise up Cast all your dreams aside Down the wishing well Far away you ran Away from your home Down the hills and through the fields Now you’re all grown The scars on your hands The dirt in your eyes The stories momma told Still were inside One day, you wake and rise up Cast all your dreams aside In your dreams you see your home A thousand miles all alone You ran away from it all I hope you know Down the wishing well

I know I speak for everyone when I say, Can you be more obvious today? I just wanna know what is going on... I'm not the kind of girl who plays around first, But over-analyzing makes me burst I just wanna know what is going on... So take a chance, make a stance, Before the dawn of a new day... Cause I feel it! Just tell me what this is, and are you feeling it too? Cause I'm not up for anymore games Show me what you'd do if you weren't scared to make your move Cause I can tell that you feel the same Don't keep me waiting, don't keep me praying Or I, I... I will be gone, Cause I'll move on Of me it seems you have a misconception, Cause I am not about deception I'm being just as clear as I can be... Can you not read this subtle invitation? Hurry up, cause I'm running out of patience! I'm being just as clear as I can be... So take a chance, make a stance, Before the dawn of a new day... Cause I feel it! Pull yourself together, you ain't gonna remember What it was like to be the way you are today Pull yourself together, you ain't gonna remember Anything after you find the guts to say it to me... to me.... Cause I feel it! Cause I'll move on

Today was meant to be a fair event, But you just can't seem see other people We just want some sanity But you are so ignorant I! (I!) Know! (Know!) You never meant any harm but You just had to and ruin the whole damn thing now We! (Are!) Our! (Own!) Trying to live our lives yeah, But you just can't seem to get over yourself now It's hard to believe you can't see the problem When you are so alone against the crowd I think you should call it a day But you're just out of control

Sure she's got a charm about her When she smiles her eyes light up the room But does that mean the rest of us are left standing in the dark? With a face of obvious beauty Everything the way they say it should be But who has the right to say the beauty's her and not me? Levana, la la, Levana Maybe you can give some magic to me Cuz its hard to share the air you also breathe I don't know if I could say a word to her I try to forgive but my heart says no If not for her I never would have had to let him go What sets her apart from the rest of us? When she's around there's only second best And when she's done here there won't be anyone else thats left
